The first wines from Bodegas Torrevellisca appeared on the Spanish market in 1993 and were so well received that the decision was taken to increase the capacity our ageing cellars in order to be able to set part of the production for the export market. Our installations cover 48,450 m2 of land of which 1,920 are given over to cellars and basements. Our sheds house 600 American and French oak barrels and there are more than 20,000 bottles in racks which is where Torrevellisca wines acquired their perfect harmony. The cellar is equipped with stanlees steel, controlled fermentation vats and our facilities are rounded off by a bottling line with an output of over 2,000 bottles/hour. In addition to this first class infraestructure, Bodegas Torrevellisca keeps a strict control over its production capacity in order to be able to continue offering high quality wines. Torrevellisca wines, chosen by means of a strict process of selection, undergo ageing in oak barrels and bottles. It is once the wine is bottled that it reaches the peak of its evolution protected from any contact with the air. This long process requires, at all times, the thorough care of wine-producers, wine tasters and oenologists. Finally, the wine reveals all of the excellence that nature has bestowed on it.
